19 Years of Custom Manufacturing: What International Cooperation Has Taught Us
For 19 years, Tongyong Industries has worked with customers on customized products for international markets.
During that time, products, technologies and customer expectations have changed. What has remained unchanged is a simple principle: international cooperation must be built on trust, clear communication and responsible manufacturing.
A customer may send us only an idea, a drawing, an existing sample or a list of functional requirements. Our work is to understand what the customer truly needs and help turn that information into a product that can be manufactured.

Product development begins by turning an initial concept into a clear and manufacturable design.
Customization Is More Than Changing a Logo
True customization is not simply adding a customer’s brand to an existing product.
It may involve changing the product structure, dimensions, materials, electronics, lighting performance, surface finish, packaging or assembly method. Some projects require PCBA development, while others require metal parts, plastic enclosures or complete-product assembly.
One real example is our T-Light series. The collection includes desk lamps, floor lamps and portable lighting products with different structures, heights, finishes and application scenarios.
From compact desktop lighting to portable lamps used for outdoor dining, camping or vehicle maintenance, each design reflects a different customer and market requirement.

The T-Light series demonstrates how one product concept can be developed into different structures, colors and applications.
Standards Protect Both Sides
Nineteen years of experience has taught us that saying “yes” to every request is not always responsible.
Before production, important requirements should be confirmed: drawings, dimensions, materials, functions, appearance standards, testing methods, packaging and delivery schedules.
Our project process may include:
-
Requirement and drawing review
-
Design-for-manufacturing evaluation
-
Sample or prototype confirmation
-
Incoming-material inspection
-
In-process quality checks
-
Functional and appearance testing
-
Packaging and pre-shipment inspection
-
Written approval before major changes
Different products and markets may require different certifications. We discuss the intended market with the customer early and clarify which documents or testing support can be provided.
We would rather identify a problem during development than allow the customer to discover it after delivery.

Real application testing helps us evaluate whether a product meets its intended use—not only whether it looks correct.
International Cooperation Happens Face to Face
Exhibitions have been an important part of our international business experience.
At our booth, customers can see and handle real products, compare different designs and discuss requirements directly with our team. These conversations often reveal details that are difficult to explain through photographs or emails alone.
Customers may ask about brightness, battery life, materials, tooling, packaging, minimum order quantities or how a product can be adapted to their market.
For us, an exhibition is not only a place to display products. It is an opportunity to listen and understand what buyers are genuinely concerned about.

Our exhibition booth presented real lighting products and manufacturing solutions to international visitors.
The Details Behind Long-Term Trust
International customers naturally worry about quality consistency, delivery time, communication and whether the finished product will match the approved sample.
We understand these concerns because customized manufacturing always involves investment and uncertainty.
Our response is not to promise that every project will be free of challenges. Instead, we focus on clear specifications, milestone updates, sample confirmation and early communication whenever a technical or delivery issue appears.
When customers visit our booth or discuss a project with our team, our goal is not to make the biggest promise. It is to provide a realistic path from the initial idea to production.

Direct conversations at exhibitions help us better understand customer expectations and build long-term cooperation.
Looking Forward
After 19 years, we continue to believe that good manufacturing is not only about machines and production capacity. It is also about patience, responsibility and respect for the customer’s idea.
Today, Tongyong Industries supports customized electronics and hardware manufacturing, including product-development support, PCBA, metal components, enclosures, lighting products, prototyping, assembly and finished-product manufacturing.
Every project is different, but our purpose remains the same: helping customers move from components to complete products through practical engineering and dependable cooperation.
If you are developing a customized electronic, hardware or lighting product, you are welcome to share your idea, drawing or sample with our team.
